A Hiccup...Just a tiny one.

I hit a small hiccup lately and fell behind my updates again which is rather shameful I know. I think, for all of three readers here, I should apologise for being lax. So I do so now.
On Sunday, fast approaching too, I should be on target to update Jessica and Grey while also working on my graphic novel series with a friend.

I've been out of sorts recently and the weather here in Cornwall hasn't lent itself to providing me with fresh air strolls that aren't filled with cold down pours or wind that could cut an army in twain. But I'm getting better again, Nanowrimo was an awesome experience which I really haven't taken on board fully yet but I will...soon...I'm sure :P

Anyhow I'm off to catch some Zzz's if anyone does read Jessica and Grey please feel free to drop a comment, it's just nice to know if there are any readers beyond the three or four people I know personally ;)

I've put a nice 2000 word+ post up that I had to battle through. Had a little crisis of faith this week and bit past and without anyone at the time to console me I simply had to rough it out.

But I'm back again and this is the first of my updated schedule. Every sunday a new Jessica and Grey part goes live while I work on my novel and a graphic novel with my illustrator friend.

Ok with nanowrimo going strong - 26k words so far with a new 3000 a day target I'm falling behind on J&G and have decided to put it on suspended status until after November.

Once this is all past and I can look at editting and cleaning up DoS (my nanowrimo novel) I will return to Jessica and Grey with alot of new work. I'm looking at producing 5000 words per post every sunday since I feel it's quite possible and before this whole nano work I had real difficult getting words down on the ole' paper.

Anyhow it's on suspension until after November where I will return with much cool new content.

Ok for those that read J&G, it's not going to be updated today - I hope to sort it out by tomorrow but at this very moment I'm quite under the weather.

Nanowrimo isn't going badly, yes I'm behind, but I'm catching up with my target of 3000 words a day. Once I have it complete I'm going to bring alot more attention to J&G and start working on much larger posts each sunday.

I've also started working on several other projects at base level including two graphic novels that I hope to publish online and in print at some point (Always the dreamer ;))

Anyhow sorry about J&G update (or lack of) will remedy as soon as I am well enough again :)

Ok the first part of chapter 3 is up and working. Hitting at just over 1000 words it's a little talky in places and I have yet to get that formatting down perfect, so apologies for that.

Hope those that read enjoy it, and back to more work I go :)

Change of Colour and Style

Having hastily chosen the previous template I have had a rethink and moved onto a new style. Again sticking to something different from J & G but still nice.

I might at a future date setup J & G as the green version of the template you see before and all around you, just so there is a continual style across the Lil fiction range.

Work is going well, but unfortunatly the weather hasn't been brilliant so my work at Flickr photos hasn't been updated much of lately. Hopefully more when the weather is dry, I hope all are well that read here, and more soon.

Sorry about the lack of posts of late, Jessica and Grey resumes this sunday with a brand new update.

In the real world I'm prepping myself for NANOWRIMO which I've signed up for check my profile "BoBFiSh" and if any writers on there read Jessica and Grey give me a buddy :) always good to keep in contact with other writers.

On another real life note I have been working on two websites of late which is one of the reasons I've not managed to keep Jessica and Grey updated. This is because I am awful at scheduling work in a decent order plus I've never had the best work hour practise to be honest (many late nights tsk tsk).

Anyhow just thought I'd update so that people who read know I'm alive and posting soon.

Hola,

Lets see now, news to report (taps chin).

Well firstly there is the prep work for NANOWRIMO which I sign up for on October 1st, start my major research and planning of the work for the big start November 1st.
I'm looking forward to it, although who knows how well I'll do :).

I have been working on several primises for stories which have been floating around in the space that my brain should be occupying (it's on vacation). I hope to work on these over the coming months alongside Jessica and Grey.

That's all for now, the freelance work is going so so, hopefully be finished in the next week so I can run a game at a decent framerate again :P.

Struck Down In Its Prime

It was a fine and bright day,
with the sun chasing the clouds in a merry old way.
When from the computer did something go splutter,
was it the fan or something the matter.
A chug and a clank, a cold feeling sank,
for there went my graphics,
all garbled and a flicker.

So my graphics card kicked it today. Now most components give you a warning, the faint sign of weezing on their way to the great motherboard in the sky, but no not my graphics card bless him.
He held out until the very end, giving no warning to his flagging nature and simply popped his clogs mid game and thankfully not mid-unsaved-work. Still I'm running on a temporary until I can complete this project, get paid, buy a new shiny graphics card and monitor and feel good again :).

Shouldn't be a delay, with a post on Jessica and Grey on sunday evening most likely.

Hola all,

I'm going to be trying to get a chapter listing running on the right side navigation of Jessica and Grey today so if a few menus appear and disappear at random it's just me playing with the layout.

I've removed some of the posts related to delays from Jessica And Grey so that if you start at chapter 1, there is an uninterrupted flow from chapter part to part.

Recent Activity or Lack Of

Hola all,

Well lately I've been up to my elbows in....well paper to be honest, I won't lie.

Having managed to get that project of my rather space lacking desk I have resumed my project for hire, a Freelance website.

After many questions from friends across the seas and those local, I've got pretty much what I need to complete that and secure a tiny bit of funds (real money doesn't exist in my little universe).

Now with that I have several plans, one is to get a sweet new graphics card. Why? well it's simple I can't play Bioshock and it's awesome....simple really.
The next item is a new monitor so that lack of desk space can in fact become useable for my next major project, a graphic novel.
I have been writing several major ideas up and with that new deskspace I will be able to actually paint and draw with some effectiveness (being cramped to a corner of the desk was always far from ideal).

So that's what has been happening of late, :)
